Thrive — Exploring, understanding and celebrating Jewish Intangible Heritage and its contemporary relevance is an online event that invites people of all backgrounds to understand and explore the importance of living traditions, stories, and practices that continue to shape Jewish life today. During the webinar, we will present the new Intangible Jewish Heritage website and discover why preserving languages, songs, rituals, and shared memories is essential for strengthening communities and cultural understanding. Participants will hear from experts who work closely with Jewish communities to keep these traditions alive and meaningful.

The webinar welcomes Jewish heritage professionals, educators and students, cultural institutions and museum professionals, policy-makers and heritage networks, Jewish communities, and anyone from the wider public interested in heritage and European culture. As part of the Thrive project — an initiative dedicated to empowering Jewish communities and supporting the safeguarding and sharing of intangible heritage across Europe — this event highlights how collaboration, knowledge, and digital tools can help traditions flourish.

Rooted in European values and inspired by UNESCO frameworks, Celebrating Intangible Jewish Heritage shows how heritage connects people across generations — and how each of us can play a role in protecting it for the future.
