JDCorps Members Join WJC at UN General Assembly

At this year’s UN General Assembly, Jewish Diplomatic Corps members joined the World Jewish Congress in diplomatic meetings with global leaders. Elizabeth Chen, WJC Executive Committee member and JD Corps participant, joined meetings with Péter Sztáray, Minister of State for Security and Energy Policy of Hungary; Michiel Maertens, MFA Director for the United Nations & OIF; and Mateja Norčič Štamcar, Slovenia’s MFA Political Director. Louise Lipskar joined WJC’s meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, while Yaakov Chaliotis assisted with preparations for WJC’s briefing with Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus.
