Ariela Di Gioacchino is the President of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), the global representative body of over 800,000 Jewish students worldwide.
She served as Policy Officer of the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS) and as an elected member of the Executive Board, serving as Secretary General of the Italian Union of Jewish Youth (UGEI) in 2024 and 2025. Prior to these roles, she worked as Executive Assistant in the Public Affairs Office of a diplomatic mission in Rome, before moving to Abu Dhabi for an internship at the Embassy of Italy to the United Arab Emirates.
She holds a degree in Governance and International Relations and pursued further studies in International Relations: Crime, Justice, and Security at the University of Bologna. During her academic path, she participated in several exchange programmes across Europe and beyond, including Venice International University, Tel Aviv University, Reichman University, and Syracuse University.
She was a Lauder Fellow in the 2020–2021 cohort and has since been a member of the WJC Elevate Network.
